Nutritional Therapy

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition and lifestyle medicine sciences in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care.

It is a whole-body approach to nutrition and lifestyle that can influence the function of the body, help protect against disease, restore health and determine people’s response to changes in the environment. It addresses potential underlying causes of ill-health, rather than focusing on symptoms.

Nutritional therapists are fully qualified practitioners who work with individuals on a one-to-one basis to support health and wellbeing. Their advice is always personalised to the individual, rather a one-size-fits-all approach. They take into account your health journey, health goals and dietary preferences.

Nutritional therapy is not a replacement for medical advice. Nutritional therapists cannot diagnose or treat disease. They can work alongside other medical professionals and will always refer 'Red flag' symptoms back to their medical professional.

My Approach

I'm Yasmin Latif, a nutritional therapist and health coach based in South West London. I work with women over 30 years. I use evidence based scientific research to help address your root causes so you can achieve results that will support your health and wellbeing through your 30s, 40s and beyond.

As a registered nutritional therapist I will assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances. I understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns and will work with you to address these. I may recommend GP and functional testing to identify root causes of symptoms like digestive complaints, thyroid issues, low energy and nutritional imbalances. Working with your health goals and dietary preferences, my focus will be on your individual client needs.

Nutritional therapy is more than the right diet and nutrients. Our minds, bodies and the environment are all interconnected - they need to be supported to achieve harmony and health during the transition from perimenopause to menopause. To achieve mental and body transformation I use my six principle approach to support your hormones:
